Terms of Service
Effective date: October 8, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StarMeds website, online questionnaire, and care portal (together, the "Service"), operated by Velcrest Holdings LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as StarMeds ("StarMeds," "we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Not for emergencies
The Service is not for medical emergencies. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room right away.
Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- be located in a U.S. state where the Service is available at the time of your consultation and when your medication is shipped; and
- use the Service only for yourself, not on behalf of anyone else.
How the Service works
StarMeds offers access to a compounded prescription medication (NAD+ injection). You complete an online medical questionnaire. A licensed clinician reviews your answers and decides whether a prescription is appropriate for you. If a prescription is issued, a state-licensed U.S. pharmacy prepares and ships the medication to you.
StarMeds connects you with these independent clinicians and pharmacies through our technology and service providers. StarMeds does not itself practice medicine or pharmacy.
Your telehealth consultation
- Clinicians use their own independent professional judgment. StarMeds does not direct or control their medical decisions.
- A prescription is not guaranteed. The clinician may decline to prescribe, may ask you for more information, or may recommend that you see a provider in person.
- Your consultation is not a substitute for an ongoing relationship with a primary care provider. Keep your other healthcare providers informed about medications you take.
- You agree to give complete and truthful answers about your health. Clinicians rely on what you tell them, and inaccurate information can put your health at risk.
- Read any instructions and information that come with your medication, and contact the clinician or seek medical care if you have side effects or concerns.
Compounded medications
The medication offered through the Service is compounded by a licensed pharmacy. Compounded medications are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are dispensed. We make no claims about the results of any medication, and results vary from person to person.
Your account
- You must give accurate, current, and complete information and keep it up to date, including your shipping address.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed it.
- We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, give false information, or misuse the Service. Closing your account does not affect records we must keep by law.
Orders and payment
- Prices and any applicable fees are shown before you pay. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your chosen payment method for the amounts you agree to.
- Payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. Your payment information is handled under the processor's terms and our Privacy Policy.
- An order is only filled if a licensed clinician issues a prescription and the pharmacy accepts it.
- We may change prices for future orders. Changes do not affect orders you have already paid for.
Refunds and returns
If you have a question or problem with a charge or an order, contact our support team using the details below and we will work with you to resolve it.
Prescription medications generally cannot be returned or exchanged once they have been dispensed by the pharmacy, because of pharmacy laws and safety rules. If your medication arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us promptly.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- give false information or impersonate anyone else;
- obtain medication for anyone other than yourself, or resell or share prescribed medication;
- use the Service in violation of any law;
- interfere with, disrupt, or try to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; or
- copy, scrape, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by StarMeds or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not use our names or logos without our written permission.
Disclaimers
Content on the Service is for general information only and is not medical advice. Medical advice comes only from your clinician.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty that cannot be excluded by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StarMeds and its owners, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
StarMeds is not responsible for the professional services of independent clinicians or pharmacies. Some laws do not allow certain limits on liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless StarMeds and its owners, officers, employees, and service providers from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or false information you provide.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where federal law or the law of your state of residence requires otherwise.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. If we make material changes, we will give additional notice, such as by email or a notice in the care portal. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other terms presented to you in the Service, are the entire agreement between you and StarMeds about the Service.
